Managed end to end innovation to bring a new premium ad format to market.

  • Clients were looking for high impact formats that run across the O&O inventory

  • There were no solutions that were both scalable as well as unique and eye catching

  • Each property (Sports, Finance, Homepage, etc) had their own challenges to incorporate new formats into their layouts and user experiences without being disruptive

  • Managed design team through innovative exploration, competitive analysis, and prototyping

  • Prioritize innovation initiative within our teams’ other focus areas and client work

What I Did

  • Met with stakeholders across product, eng, property and innovation teams weekly

  • Art Direct throughout the process, factoring in partner team feedback and easily adopted ad specs

  • Bring the project from concept through launch, including sales materials, comms and mocks

Impact

  • This suite of premium ads was 87% of all post sale requests in 2026 with over 600 tickets

  • 80% ticket request increase from Q1’25 to Q1’26

  • $30M premium ads revenue in 1H with this format alone
